Dover Saddlery, Hunt Valley, MD is graciously donating a small gift certificate to the champion & reserve champion for all 17 divisions at the Benefit Horse Show. 

We are looking for ribbon donors for all our classes $25 each. Here’s a chance where everyone can be a part of making the Horse Council a success! 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Very Green Hunter – for horses/ponies just starting their show careers – Open to senior & junior members. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness. Simple changes not penalized.

Baby Green Hunter – horses/ponies who have never shown above 2’ in their 1st or 2nd year of showing. – Open to senior & junior members. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness. Simple changes not penalized

Pre Child/Adult – Open to horses and ponies and ridden by a senior or junior. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness. Fences set at 2’

Children’s Pony – Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness. Fences at 2’ or 2’6”

Low Hunter – Open to horses and ponies and ridden by a senior or junior. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness. Fences set at 2’3” or 2’6”

Thoroughbred Hunter – Open to thoroughbreds only. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness. Fences set at 2’3”, 2’6”, 2’9”

Low Child/Adult Hunter – Fences to be set at 2’6”. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness.

Child/Adult Medal & Equitation 2’3”, 2’6”, 2’9” – Open to Junior and Senior riders. Judged on hands, seat, leg, overall position and control of the mount.

Child/Adult Hunter – Fences to be set at 3’. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness.

Open Hunter – Fences to be set at 3’. Judged on manners, performance, suitability and soundness.
